1. The following definitions apply to these Terms:

    1. ‘business day’ means a week day in which trading banks are open for the transaction of banking business in Sydney, New South Wales

    2. ‘order’ means a request by you to purchase products from Master/slave Pty Ltd under these Terms

    3. ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ means Master/slave Pty Ltd

    4. ‘you’ and your’ means you as the purchaser of products from Master/slave Pty Ltd pursuant to these Terms


  1. These Terms and Conditions apply to any purchase of products.

  2. These Terms may be amended periodically and you will be deemed to have accepted any amendments if you use the website after those amendments have been posted.

Contract and Price

  1. All prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST, unless otherwise indicated.

  2. Description of products and prices may be subject to change or correction at any time without notice. Although we seek to ensure information is correct, we make no representation or warranty as to information being accurate or complete. If we discover an error, we will try to notify you as soon as possible and allow you to cancel your order and obtain a refund if desired

  3. By submitting an order you warrant that you are capable of entering into a legally binding contract with us; you are authorised and able to make payment via the method you have chosen; the information you have provided is correct; and your purchase is not made for the purpose of commercial resale.

  4. A contract for purchase is only formed once we have accepted an order by issuing a receipt number.

Lead Time

  1. Unless otherwise specified made to order products have a lead time of between 70 and 90 days. You agree to allow sufficient time for delivery and design adjustments should they be required.

  2. We will use our best endaeavours to ensure your order is delivered to you on time.  However we cannot guarantee delivery dates and times and we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury to you or any third party incurs as a result of any delay in production and/or delivery of your order.


  1. Unless otherwise specified most products are made in Australia.

  2. As each product is made to order and usually hand finished there will be slight variations and imperfections which are intended and unique characteristics of the product you have ordered.

  3. Given the nature of our products, which can be fragile, we make no promises as to the life span of any product.

  4. All products are checked for quality before dispatch.

  5. All patterns, designs and other intellectual property remains our property.

  6. Legal title to the product will not pass until final payment is received by us.

  7. All design, styles, fabrics, trims, materials are sourced and produced or acquired for each order and we will usually be unable to provide replacement trims, fabrics or styles (eg. crystals, buttons).  

  8. Your garment must only be cleaned by a qualified and reputable dry cleaner.


  1. Generally, once you submit your order, cancellations of your order or changes to the product cannot be made except with our written agreement.  You should check your order carefully before submitting.

  2. If you cancel your order by notifying us in writing within 24 hours of your payment we may refund the amount paid.

  3. If you cancel your order by notifying us in writing after 24 hours of your payment we may refund one half of the amount paid.

  4. You cannot cancel a made-to-order product after it has been shipped.

  5. If your made-to-order product does not fit correctly but was made accurately according to your order specifications, in our absolute discretion, you may be eligible for a free, one-time-only re-sizing service.  You must pay all shipping and insurance charges.


  1. Refunds are usually processed within 30 business days.

  2. You must provide us with complete and accurate account information to enable any refund.

  3. Your receipt of your refund will depend on the period of time it takes your financial institution to finalise the refund.  We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you or any third party incurs as a result of any delay in processing your refund.

Return Policy

  1. You cannot return a made-to-order product or a product that is swimwear, an undergarment or other intimate garment.

  2. You must pay all shipping, insurance and other charges.

  3. You cannot return any used items.

Shipping Policy

  1. We will ship the products by standard Australia Post services to the delivery address provided in your order.

  2. Risk of damage to the product passes to you once we post the item.  You agree to take out appropriate insurance.

  3. We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you or any third party incurs arising from or concerning the delivery of your order.

  4. Unless otherwise specified you must pay all insurances, taxes, duties and other imposts.

Security Policy

  1. When purchasing from Master/slave Pty Ltd your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard.


  1. We exclude any condition or warranty, unless it is expressly set out in these Terms or is by law incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
