How a Digital Marketing Company Can Help Business Owners Build their Confidence

by Carrie Vasquez· November 21, 2018· in Blogging, General· 0 comments
There are so many company owners out there who fully believe in the product or service that they are selling, however, will struggle when it comes time to market themselves. They don’t want anyone purchasing their items that can’t afford it and they worry that people won’t like what they are offering. Because of this, they may not put themselves out there as much as they should, especially in the online atmosphere. But the truth is that when someone markets themselves online correctly, they are able to attract the right clients or customers who are able are not only able to afford the offerings but they are likely to need those offerings too. For example, a wellness coach may want to work with those who need a little bit of support and guidance in their lives, however, they wouldn’t want to attract those who would more benefit from seeing a medical practitioner or counsellor. In addition to all of this, some people feel downright icky when it comes to promoting themselves and they would much prefer it if customers simply came to them on their own. The truth is, however, that people will not simply come to a business if […]

by Carrie Vasquez· August 27, 2018· in Wedding Destination, Wedding Ideas, Wedding Receptions· 0 comments tags: ideas, reception
Check out this amazing Bridesmaid Garden Tea Party shoot we did with Glammed and Groomed and Taken by Sarah Photography Makes us feel MUCH better about the cold weather! We loved that Danyell (from Glammed and Groomed) decided to use our formal garden as the backdrop of this lovely shoot. We hardly get to see our garden used as a place for tables and receptions so this was a special treat- and might we add, we think it looks amazing! Putting a sweetheart table under our pergola was a great idea and we can totally imagine a bride and groom sitting there overlooking all their closest friends and family dancing the night away on the stars. Lily Bees did a fabulous job designing the light and airy florals for this shoot with gorgeous pops of color. Makeup is by Jesi Lovell and hair is by Glammed and Groomed. Models McKensie, Kate, and Sandy. Dresses from Fabulous Frocks Charlotte.

A Romantic Radiant Orchid Wedding

by Carrie Vasquez· August 27, 2018· in Wedding Destination, Wedding Gifts, Wedding Plan· 0 comments
This Romantic Radiant Orchid Wedding was filled with lots of love, joy and beautiful orchid accents! This couple wanted their southern backgrounds to shine and we believe our Charlotte Wedding Venue with all it’s southern charm did the trick. From Moon-Pies and RC Cola as guest favors to southern traditions and big families, this wedding brought all the things we love about the south together into one. We love how Beth chose to use orchids as her main focus and flourish from there. The Pink Petunia did a great job with lots of floating orchid blooms centerpieces and beautiful boutonnieres. A beautiful Cake by Ella’s Celestial Cakes with edible orchid blooms and cupcakes for all. We just can’t get enough of the amazing southern wedding and thankfully on of our favorite southern photographers, Old South Studios, captured the whole day so you can enjoy it too!

How to Plan the Perfect Rehearsal Dinner

by Carrie Vasquez· August 27, 2018· in Wedding Destination, Wedding Ideas, Wedding Receptions· 0 comments tags: dinner, ideas, plans, reception
Rehearsal dinners have truly morphed over the years. They used to simply be a nice dinner post rehearsal the day before the main event, your DC wedding! These days, however, it seems like rehearsal dinners can be a big big deal. Whether you’re hosting a huge soiree or an intimate gathering, a full blown catered dinner or simply a cocktail party, we’ve got you covered. The Guest List First and foremost, you will want to decide who is invited to your rehearsal dinner. Typically you don’t want to invite your whole wedding guest list. You invite anyone involved in your actual wedding rehearsal and their dates. This includes family, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and sometimes even your officiant! We would consider these your “must invite” guest list. It’s also courteous to invite any close out of town guests, but definitely not necessary or expected. One of our suggestions for handling out of town guests is hosting a short cocktail hour before or after your dinner at the main guest hotel or a bar nearby. That way the out-of-towners feel included and you can keep a more intimate rehearsal dinner vibe. Really though, the guest list is totally up to you. Your wedding […]

Steps to the Perfect Wedding Morning

by Carrie Vasquez· August 27, 2018· in Wedding Destination, Wedding Ideas· 0 comments tags: plan, steps, wedding
You’ve spent so much time planning every aspect of your wedding and you’re ready to pop that pre-wedding bubbly, sit back and relax as you count down the next couple of weeks. But, don’t forget to plan the getting ready part. There’s no rule that says the party doesn’t start until you walk down the aisle, so pull out the playlist and get your prettiest PJ’s ready! Here’s our list of ten steps to create the perfect wedding morning: One: Have a Moment with Mom… Dad or a close loved one! Thank them for everything they’ve done for you leading up to today. This moment is so important because as soon as you sit down in your stylist’s chair, the rest of the day will fly by. Nothing beats a family photo of you and your parents in PJ’s sharing a few tears pre-coffee time!   Two: Toast the Day and Settle Nerves  Make sure you have some bubbly chilled for those moments of getting ready. Now, this doesn’t mean you should chug the whole bottle down, but one or two mimosas never kills anybody! Three: Eat Breakfast  It’s always important to have a healthy and wholesome breakfast, but today is […]
